Whether it’s a conflict at work, harassment, abuse of authority, retaliation or prohibited conduct, we can all be a victim of one of these acts, however junior or senior we are.
The Council is here to advise you on your options and assist you in seeking justice, whether it’s informal mediation (we can meet with your management) or whether you would like legal assistance to contest and administrative decision through the proper legal channels, including to the United Nations Dispute Tribunal.
For legal representation, the Council currently supports the Office of Staff Legal Assistance (OSLA) and in most cases we will direct you to them.
The OSLA representative in Geneva is Mr. Robbie Leighton (ext. 75398).
If OSLA cannot represent you for any reason, we could advise you on external counsel options (contact ext. 73614).
In certain cases and if your are a dues paying member, we can assist you in funding a separate legal representative (conditions apply).
