As you may recall, staff at the UN in Geneva graciously contributed to the 2013 collection, organised under the auspices of the UNOG Staff Coordinating Council in favour of the victims of typhoon Haiyan and Bohol earthquake, which caused great damage in the Philippines.
Although three years have passed, this gesture of solidarity remains engraved in the memory of the Filipino community at the Palais des Nations, who – in recognition to the generosity of staff – would like to invite you to a lunch time concert presenting MADZ (University of the Philippines Madrigal Singers) which is currently on a European tour.
When: Thursday 1 September, 12.30 p.m. to 1.15 p.m.
Where: Serpent Bar, fist floor, E building
In case you do not know, the MADZ is the first choir ever to twice win the “European Grand Prix for Choral Singing,” in 1997 and 2007, and the first choir to obtain the “BrandLaureate Premier Award” in 2012. You can find more information on them by clicking here.

Vous avez été nombreux à contribuer à la collecte organisée en 2013 sous l’égide du Conseil de Coordination du personnel de l’ONUG pour venir en aide aux victimes du typhon Haiyan et du séisme Bohol qui ont durement frappé les Philippines.
